For the first time, Mazda will introduce a new 3.3L turbocharged inline-six engine that joins a 48-volt hybrid system. Regarding performance, drivers can expect the latter powertrain to produce 280 horsepower in non-S trims. Choosing S trims will increase the horsepower to 340.
All models will feature an eight-speed automatic transmission system and standard all-wheel drivetrain, much like current Mazda models. The blend of these capabilities alongside the intuitive powertrain will assist in ensuring a more stable driving experience through Madera.
Interior
The interior of the Mazda CX-90 is gorgeous, following suit with Mazda-exclusive luxury. Being the largest of the SUVs, cargo space is ample for up to eight Fresno passengers.
