The Mazda CX-9: A Sophisticated Three-Row SUV

The largest model that we have is the Mazda CX-9. This three-row SUV has a lot to offer, and it's been able to do very well in our local Fresno market.
Performance
All these Mazda CX-9 SUVs run on turbocharged 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engines. These engines generate 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Those numbers can increase to 250 and 320 if you use high-octane premium fuel. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission that comes with Sport Mode and a manual shift mode. Not too long ago, Mazda made all-wheel drive a standard component of the Mazda CX-9. Visalia drivers can benefit from this, as the all-wheel drive can improve the vehicle's ability to maintain good traction in rough conditions. The Off-Road Traction Assist function can be used when conditions are especially challenging.
Safety
Safety is another area in which the Mazda CX-9 does very well. The new Mazda CX-9 has a full set of driver-assist technologies. Standard programs include blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking. Some trims even have 360-degree cameras and an automatic braking function that can work when the vehicle is in reverse.
Interior Features
Most of the new Mazda CX-9s near Madera have space for six total passengers. Two people can sit in the front, and two passengers can sit in each back row. This configuration comes with captain's chairs in the middle row, allowing for a center walkthrough. Many households may prefer this since it makes it easier to access the third row. If you are looking for a seven-passenger SUV, though, the Mazda CX-9 is still a solid option.
The Touring Plus and Grand Touring trims can come with a second-row bench seat with room for three passengers. These models have second-row seats with an Easy Tilt and Slide function to provide access to the back row. This means they can quickly be pushed and tilted forward whenever people get in or out of the back. All the rear seats can fold down when you need to fill your cabin with cargo instead of passengers. This creates more storage opportunities, and the maximum cargo capacity is 71.2 cubic feet.
It's great that the Mazda CX-9 is so luxurious. Even the base trim, the Touring, has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, and heated front seats. All the other trims are fortunate to have ventilation in their front seats, too. Many have heated steering wheels and heated second-row seats. The team at Mazda designed the cabin of the Mazda CX-9 with comfort and convenience in mind.
Design & Technology
In addition, this SUV has a generous amount of high-tech equipment. It comes standard with a wireless charging pad and four USB ports. Some trims benefit from an additional pair of USB ports that third-row passengers can use. This way, even with a full load of passengers, everyone's devices can stay fully charged during drives around Madera. HD Radio, Bluetooth, Pandora internet radio, and a 10.25-inch center display are all standard. SiriusXM is found on higher trims, and the top two trims feature integrated navigation and SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.
