The latest Mazda CX-5 uses a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, delivering up to 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. An available turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine increases output to 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, while the available 93-octane edition moves to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. 6-speed automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive are standard for all eight trims.
